birthday business

So yeah it was my birthday yesterday. I talked to my mum and she told me she was shopping at Stop n Shop in Milton (Massachusetts) and she walked outside with my grandmother and her water broke. so they went home and called the doctor and waiting till the contractions got further apart. Then they went to the hospital (Beth Israel) and waited some more. My dad had to wait outside in the waiting room. They didn't let fathers in the delivery room yet. It was afternoon and it was hot and finally I was born. around 7 pounds 20 something inches. that's all she told me.

When my son and I go back to visit my mum at her house in Sandwich we usually make a trip to Falmouth. We go to Eight Cousins book store and visit some fancy boutiques, have lunch, get a black dog t-shirt and go to Sage. They are the best store. They are so nice and have such great yarns and always have something yummy on sale. If I lived in Falmouth I would be so broke, I'd go there all the time. So I guess its a good thing I live 3000 miles away.
